Honeo encourages users to share a variety of content, such as photos, reviews, pricing information, locations, top lists, articles, videos, and more. Honey brings people together, and so does Honeo. We understand that discussions can become intense, so we’ve established some rules to ensure Honeo remains a welcoming space for everyone.

Inappropriate Content

While we appreciate vibrant and imaginative expressions, and recognise that discussing Honey isn’t always black and white, we do not tolerate hate speech, harassment, personal threats, rudeness, or content that is pornographic, obscene, violent, or deemed otherwise inappropriate at Honeo’s sole discretion. Disrespect towards staff and moderators is unacceptable and will result in consequences.

Promotional Content

Promotional content is generally prohibited unless you’re a producer, manufacturer or retailer posting on your own page. If you manage a website, blog, publication, or create honey-related content and wish to share it on Honeo, reach out to us to explore potential collaboration. Our aim is to maintain our platform as informative and user-friendly as possible, without it becoming overrun with advertisements.

Privacy

Respect privacy by not sharing others’ private information without consent. Avoid posting close-up images or videos of individuals without their permission, and refrain from sharing full names of individuals unless they are service providers who are commonly recognized by or openly share their full names.

Conflicts of Interest

For those associated with a product or retail operation, we remind you to keep your contributions impartial and objective. Avoid biased actions, such as exclusively rating your products highly or competitors’ products poorly. While encouraging feedback from your customers and network is acceptable, dictating the nature of their reviews or ratings is not. Honeo worker bees reserves the right to remove content deemed biased at our discretion.

Intellectual Property

Originality is key – do not plagiarise content from other sources or individuals. We encourage you to use your own images and narratives, making your contributions genuinely yours – and more engaging for everyone.
